Floss opened in June 2021, in beautiful Banff, Alberta.
since 2006, dental hygienists in Alberta have been practicing in their own private practices.
This provides the public with the opportunity to choose the dental hygienist
We encourage our clients to see Their current dentist for any needed treatment.
Dental hygienists in a traditional dentist practice and private hygiene practice are able to provide the same services.
the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta inspects, governs, and regulates that all professional standards and infection control requirements are met to ensure the public receives safe and effective oral health care.
Meet The Team
Julie
Hi, I’m Julie! Welcome to FLOSS!
I absolutely love what I do, and you will most definitely see that when you’re in the chair with me! I am an advocate of preventive and patient-focused care which is catered to individual needs. As it gives me a chance to change lives and bring people back to their best, healthy selves. I am proud to be sharing this passion with you, your family, and your friends! My goal as a Registered Dental Hygienist is to always provide exceptional patient-focused care and educating so that their mouth stays healthy not only today, but for years to come.
As a firm believer in lifelong learning, I take an extensive amount of continuing education and training. I am passionate about giving back to the community and, I look forward to your care!
Since moving to the Bow Valley, Banff has quickly become a place for me to call home. I grew up in Winnipeg, but have also lived in Toronto, White Horse, and Calgary. Throughout my travels, I’ve found that it’s the people and community that make a place feel like home – the familiar faces and familiar smiles.
In my spare time, I explore and immerse myself in this beautiful Park we call home. Through hiking, biking, and skiing, you can always expect to find me outdoors with my husband and two daughters during my time away from the clinic.
